The tasting of our first beer "Scottish ale" with friends and family on the 21. Sep. 2006.

It went quit well, not great, Sweet and very drinkable.

Tryed it after 1 month in the bottles, it is not ready, very sweet, oily, good taste, but need at least 2 Months more before it´s ready.
Batch 2-B. The same as Batch 2-A, just with Coffee in it.
Tasted it after 1 Month in the bottle, very sweet, not enough coffee taste, but I think it vill be good after 2 Months more on the bottles.
Batch 2-C. A coffee stout brewed on the malt from Batch 2-A and 2-B, not as strong and powerfull, but still strong, 7% alc. "The thin beer"
Tryed it after 1 Month on bottles, it is realy good, this is the thin beer, but the best of the 3 so far.
There is a hint of coffee, licorice and faint chocolate in the taste, the aroma is coffee, quit good!

This beer was a big suprice, at 7% alc. it had a great coffee and chocolate aroma and taste, it was a little bitter and dry from the huge amount of hops in it 200 ibu.
We were very happy with the result!
